Heather Allen, as UCCS alumna, serves as the senior executive assistant to the Interim Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management and Student Affairs (EMSA), as well as the Logistics Coordinator for the UCCS Det 105 AF-ROTC, and the Project Manager for division-wide projects. Before joining the UCCS Division of Student Affairs (now EMSA), Heather worked for UCCS Advancement-Development as a project/program manager. Prior to UCCS Advancement she was the first University Communications intern, and began as a student employee running the UCCS Facilities Sign Shop.
Heather served many years as the admin and chair for the UCCS Student Achievement Awards and is currently the admin for the UCCS Veteran and Military Affairs Council (VMAC). Heather is a proud recipient of the 2020 CU Staff Excellence Award, and just completed her 10th year working at UCCS.
As a proud Disabled Army Combat Veteran, Heather spends her spare time volunteering with fellow veterans, speaking at engagements on being a Military Sexual Assault (MST) survivor, and learning more of ways she can give back to her military and local community. Heather also enjoys spending time with her two sons: one a current UCCS student and the other a High School AVID/UCCS program participant.
