Amanda Allee currently serves as the Assistant Vice Chancellor of Student Support and Engagement at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS). In this role, Amanda oversees Dean of Students, Student Life and Leadership, Residence Life and Housing, MOSAIC, and Veteran and Military Affairs, focusing on enhancing student engagement and support across the campus.
Previously, Amanda served as the Dean of Students, where she oversaw the CARE Team, administered the student code of conduct, and managed programs like Clyde’s Cupboard and prevention education initiatives designed to enrich students' lives and education. Amanda joined UCCS in 2008, beginning her career in the Office of Student Life and Leadership, where she supported Fraternity and Sorority Life, Student Clubs, and Student Government. She later transitioned to the Office of the Dean of Students, serving as the Assistant Dean of Students and Director of Student and Judicial Affairs, and subsequently as the Director of Institutional Equity and Title IX Coordinator before returning to Student Affairs.
Amanda is a two-time alumna of UCCS, having earned her Ph.D. and master’s degree from the UCCS College of Education, and her bachelor’s degree from Metropolitan State University of Denver. Additionally, she has previously served as a lecturer in the College of Education, teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses in student affairs. Amanda’s research interests include student retention, leadership development, and creating inclusive and supportive campus environments.
